Some interesting comments here. We operate a different model but the idea is the same – to raise men and women to be competent and capable gospel workers in inner city housing schemes. That will obviously include ‘preachers’ but not exclusively so. At NCC we use some great material in partnership with the Porterbrook Network. It is a two year part time course which covers a variety of modules and issues in terms of theology, doctrine, pastoral issues, apologetics & missiology. I will do more about this course later.
