Mike Stark has been working informally in the local high school, Castlebrae Community High School, since 2008 and became the school’s Chaplain in 2011.

The Chaplaincy Team (made up of Mike and other staff and apprentices at NCC) aims to support the pupils and staff of the school in a variety of ways, wherever possible.

In particular, the Chaplaincy Team help to support the RME (Religious and Moral Education) curriculum, and are often around at school/ community events. The Chaplaincy Room is open to all pupils and staff at the school during lunchtimes on Tues, Wed, and Thurs, and is an opportunity just to eat lunch and chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
