International Work

Niddrie and its surrounding area is becoming increasingly international, home to people from all over the world. We’re excited that we now get to share Christ’s love cross-culturally without needing to hop onto a boat or plane!

Tuesday evening is dedicated to international activities and people from all walks of life are welcome to join us to practice English, find friends and learn more about the Bible. Despite their varied religious backgrounds, those who come along are usually happy to participate in the optional Bible studies – praise God! Please pray that many will come along, hear the gospel, trust in Jesus, reject sin and be baptised into the fellowship of believers.

Additionally, we’re welcomed into the homes of refugees and asylum-seekers who are keen on learning English. Please pray that our interactions, and especially our words, would point them to the only true Refuge – Christ the Saviour.

We seek to be involved in other community activities that attract ethnic minorities in the area, coming alongside them in the hope of building evangelistic relationships. Our deepest prayer is that many of the friends we make this way will be with us in eternity – worshipping before the Lamb as part of the great multitude from every nation, tribe and language (Revelation 7:9) Do pray with us!

For more information on the activities offered and how you can join us, please contact the church or speak to Valerija Voitovic.
